So that we can enjoy this fantastic commodity, Aqua Terrena is tapped into a Bag-in-Box container, straight into a triple-layer bag that keeps light and air away from the water. As it happens, light and air are water’s worst enemies. In a traditional water cooler that has been put in a too-bright place, an undesirable process begins that forms algae. The same applies if the water is too warm – and it gets even worse if there is air in the container. Normal water containers allow light and air in and the water stays fresh and drinkable for no more than two or three weeks. It is also absolutely necessary to follow a strict hygienic routine every time the bottle is changed
